چکیده
This study is achieved in the local area of Eridu oil field, where Mishrif Formation considered main productive reservoir. The was deposited during Cretaceous period secondary sedimentary cycle (Cenomanian-Early Turonian as a part Wasia Group, carbonate succession widespread throughout Arabian Plate. already have been evaluated terms depositional environments and their diagenetic processes. Here, it will test previous conclusions with petrophysical properties delineated by using well logging. results show there fully matching two reservoir units (MA MB). Dissolution primary porosity are responsible for forming variety large types. These types preserved hydrocarbons commercial quantities. MA MB low gamma ray high to moderate total effective porosities values. water saturation Sw upper unit (MA) very generally become water-bearing zone. appears all studied wells except E-NE part, characterized patches saturation. In contrast, lower (MB) values hydrocarbon (Sh) some areas middle field. Cap rocks (CR1 CR2) represents rock permeability due components these units. It contains lime mudstone log response this cap indicates gamma-ray peak value. Compaction dolomitization type unit.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
The Evaluation of Reservoir Quality of Sarvak Formation in One of Oil Fields of the Persian Gulf
Sarvak formation, with the middle cretaceous (Cenomanian) age, is one of the stratigraphic units of the Bangestan group in the southern Iran. The carbonate rocks of this formation form the reservoir rock in the study field. Generally, Sarvak formation is subdivided into three members including Mishrif, Khatiyah, and Maddud in the Persian Gulf, and the average thickness of the reservoir unit (i....

Determining Reservoir Potential in the Yaran Oil Field
Sarvak Formation as the oil reservoir with the most hydrocarbon potential in Yaran oil field is of special importance. The present research was conducted to study the reservoir parameters of this Formation. For this purpose, petro-physical crude data was first prepared and using the Geolog6.7 software, a petro physical plot was drawn. Afterward, petro-physical properties of reservoir were done ...
